1. Trudging up the first hill, I knew it was going to be a very slow day: legs dead from running 10 days in a row.
2. Attacked from trail junction.
3. +00:10Took a bit of trail left of line, then cut over. Could see the flag from a ways away but hesitated a bit since it was on top of a knoll and the clue was cliff, east end.
4. +00:15Came in too far right and didn't correct cleanly.
5. +00:20Straight. Somehow I didn't see the flag when I crossed the trail, and ran a bit to the left before coming back to it.
6. Straight.
7. +01:30Drifted left (through green) and mistook the knoll the boulder was on for the one before it. So I went too far, and didn't figure it out as fast as I should have.
8. +00:45Drifted left (again), but thought I was on line because the marsh extended further south than mapped. Corrected pretty quickly.
9. Straight.
10. Straight, finding some unmapped trails through the green. Attacked from bare rock.
11. +03:00Disaster. Somehow, I ran onto the parking area just left of the control but was totally disoriented and ran all the way around to the east side of the building thinking it was the south side. By then I was 150 meters beyond the control. What a clunker. Don't know where my mind was at.
12. +00:15For some reason, exited north to parking lot instead of south to road, which was more direct.
13. Includes map exchange. I slowed down some and orienteered a bit better on the second map.
14. Straight.
15. To trail, then a bit along the road.
16. Straight.
17. Straight.
18. Straight, crossing road at depression.
19. +00:45Left the control SE instead of S. Not sure why, but didn't figure it out until I hit the trail quite a bit east of where I wanted.
20. Really tired.
