4. +02:00Could not decide whether to stay high or near the marsh. Did neither and could not keep a good direction thru the crappy woods anyway. Hoped to hit the control but expected to miss it and come back from the trail which is what I ended up doing. Should have run a lot faster with less navigating.
5. +01:00Out to the trail and lost track of my distance. Thought I had missed the jct so cut into the woods on a bearing, then hit the other trail. Took it all the way to the hill looking for some good woods to run in. Nothing looked good so just slogged thru on a bearing.
6. +13:00Started ok and was on line when I was confused by a control on a cliff. Could not find the cliff on the map so unsure where I was. Should have found the control anyway since I continued on but must have stopped short. After wandering a bit bailed out to the trail to relocate. Botched this up when I hit the trail and could not tell where I was. Ran left when I should have gone right. Eventually realized where I was, ran back to find the water at the trail jct and attacked from there. Now it was easy. Nadim went by on the way to 7.
7. Took the trail all the way around and came in from the back side. Had no problems and should have been much faster but I was to tired to run faster.
8.
9. +02:00Missed some trails and ended up to far the NE. As I came in a train led by Kesenya beat me to the control. At least 3 others including the worlds slowest puncher Dan S.
10. By the time I punched the trail was gone except for Dan who ran away and I assume caught back up. PG caught me from behind and this worked out better than the train. I kept him in sight to the trail along the marsh then attacked from the bend and past the tip of rocks. Dan and Kesenya were wandering in the area E of the control. Saw PG on his way to the next control and Kesenya and I punched together.
11. Thought Peter was on Blue so had paid little attention to where he was going. He was out of sight anyway. Chased Kesenya then we split up in the saplings only to meet again at the rocks. Several Green? runners were low in the rocks as we punched.
12. Kesenya disappeared on the downhill. No way I could keep that pace in the rocky green. Crossed the trail at the water and caught the indistinct trail to the knoll on the other side. Enough people had gone this way that the trail continued on almost all the way to the control. Should have run faster.
13. +01:00Cut up way to soon and was looking at the rocks SW of the control. Lots of people in the area. Realized I was in the wrong rocks and continued on and after some hesitation on to the control.

15. Crash out to the field and take the trail to the bend. See no control and can not tell from the map what I am looking for; looks like a ruin. Check the descriptions. copse. dooh. This is the GO control and I had seen it before starting. Run around the trees and punch. I would have mapped that differently.
F. With a little effort I might be able to run world record time for 100m.
