1. 398m 5:35 22 +1:37 41% 76.7 14:01   398m 5:35 22 +1:37 41% 14:01 couldn't face the climb right out of the start, so went down the trail to the reentrant before climbing. Recognized the extra climb, but somehow it was easier psychically
2. 449m 4:29 20 +1:18 41% 71.5 9:59   847m 10:04 19 +2:55 41% 11:53 Straight to first wall, then downhill under the green, past the reentrant at bottom of second wall and had to climb a line at the end. John Campbell passed here
3. 611m 7:41 12 +1:10 18% 86.3 12:34   1458m 17:45 15 +4:02 29% 12:10 A little left of line to avoid climbing over spur, then up the trail segment a bit and climbed early, approaching level and from the west
4. 154m 2:42 21 +43 36% 77.8 17:31   1612m 20:27 15 +4:38 29% 12:41 right of the cliffs and up
5. 314m 3:12 14 +56 41% 75.5 10:11   1926m 23:39 14 +5:34 31% 12:16 down the reentrant and timed it right to come up just before and could see the knoll from a distance. A little satisfaction seeing a guy studying his map just S of knoll.
6. 328m 2:22 7 +20 16% 89.0 7:12   2254m 26:01 13 +5:31 27% 11:32 good control for me, fast down the spur and picked up the trail, saw the boulder from the top of the knoll and straight for it.
7. 58m 25 19 +8 47% 76.0 7:11   2312m 26:26 13 +5:36 27% 11:25 easy. Kind of slow, but how much time can I have lost?
8. 1008m 9:40 16 +1:51 24% 84.3 9:35   3320m 36:06 11 +7:27 26% 10:52 trail. When I cut off my foot hit a stick and I went down hard among the rocks. Lucky I didn't open my forehead. As it was I was pretty dazed and had to walk for a while. Once I recovered enough, navigation was easy and fun. Up the broad saddle, up the hill left of cliffs and straight in, noticing there was a flag close to my right, but not fooled by it.
9. 185m 2:06 12 +35 38% 79.9 11:21   3505m 38:12 13 +7:48 26% 10:53 Very nice leg. Looked for reentrant coming up and hooked right down it.
10. 147m 1:51 33 +37 50% 67.6 12:35   3652m 40:03 13 +8:25 27% 10:57 A little adjustment as I hit the reentrant from the side and had to climb down a cliff. Otherwise fine.
11. 225m 2:43 14 +40 33% 76.5 12:04   3877m 42:46 13 +9:05 27% 11:01 Down the spur. Got passed by Jon Torrance, who was not going all that fast.
12. 188m 1:21 26 +23 40% 72.8 7:10   4065m 44:07 13 +9:25 27% 10:51 Hit the trail, and then hit stream too far right so had to go down a bit and get around some green
13. 714m 5:15 28 +1:43 49% 70.5 7:21   4779m 49:22 13 +11:05 29% 10:19 Easy, although I saw the flag on the boulder with the wall as backdrop, and our flag was hidden behind a tree. I wasn't fooled by it.
14. 308m 2:25 22 +39 37% 74.9 7:50   5087m 51:47 14 +11:44 29% 10:10 Easy
15. 362m 47 10 +8 21% 84.4 2:09   5449m 52:34 12 +11:52 29% 9:38 Easy
16. 150m 2:56 38 +1:06 60% 65.0 19:33   5599m 55:30 15 +12:58 30% 9:54 A little difficulty finding a way out of 15 without going through water, then up the road and over the spur, then straight for the hill.
17. 236m 2:10 13 +43 49% 71.0 9:10   5835m 57:40 15 +13:41 31% 9:52 Went S out and skirted a bunch of green, then it looked so awful that I went back all the way to the yellow to get up the hill and in.
18. 155m 1:58 7 +12 11% 91.0 12:41   5990m 59:38 14 +13:51 30% 9:57 Now I'm looking at my watch and desperate to get under an hour.
19. 93m 21 2 +2 11% 100.0 3:45   6083m 59:59 14 +13:44 30% 9:51 Only 22 seconds left and running as hard as I can.
