no spirals today, a big loop before some hill intervals and then a loop back to the car, felt a bit laboured going out, but the sun shines on the righteous and it came out for the intervals, it's only a short hill through runnable wood but I'm doubled-over at the end of each one: 6 x 45 secs (120m with 15m climb)

well, it might have been a nice route had it not extended beyond our map, we (i) crossed a stream I shouldn't have and headed west instead of north, added 2km, so revised route, spotted a few things in Linacre even in the dark, felt fine
