Possum Trot at Blue Gray Park.
My first Possum Trot and I’ll be back next year!!
It was a blast. On my own after the 2 nd control, so it was challenging and super fun. Lots of trails to use and distinct gully’s and streams etc to navigate by. I ended up 9 th overall, but over 1/2 hour back.
The weather was almost perfect as it was cold, but not a cloud in the sky.
Actually Saturday morning I sprained my big toe in the hotel room, but held up today just fine. I skipped #22 which most others did also.
The new date of the weekend before Thanksgiving works for me do from now I’m in this event.

PrePosum Trot. All the years and I’m now the night before my first famous Possum Trot.
Today was a 2.9 K sprint and it was simple but from 6-7 I looked to take the easy route ( non thinking ) to the road. Lost 2 minutes struggling uphill in the greenish Woods. Oh well my one usual mistake at a meet.
