Springtime in Shropshire Day 1, Long Mynd NE.
M50L, 6.8km, 185m.
A bit of a fell race. Many controls visible from a distance. Still managed to miss a couple (#6: 2 mins, #9 : 1 min). Hip sore but i don't think it slowed me much. Clive 40 mins.

1 hour walk on the moors with Louise around Snailsden.

My left hip is giving me gip. Sore with reduced mobility. Seems to have developed after the weekend and started with the inability to fully lift my leg towards the end of Saturday's and Sunday's race. Doing some foam rollering (painful, particularly in the IT band area) which might be helping a bit. Worried how three races at the weekend will affect it.

Legs sore in unusual places this morning. Couldn't book a massage until next week so I think this week will follow the Clive H training regime.

shoes: VJ Integrator (ex Lulu)

Scottish Relays, Binning Wood.
1st leg of Handicap relay. 5.8km.
Quite fun blast around a fairly average bit of wood. Racing girls mainly and loosing out to them. In my defence, i was increasingly struggling to pick my legs up as my hip flexors (?) gradually got sorer and sorer. Time for a massage me thinks.
