....a decent run: circuit of Black Hill from Holme Moss. 9 minutes run, 1 minute walk x 4. Test for Achilles in terrain which went well but, as ever, tomorrow morning is key. Ice after (without the G+T).

Lap of Digley. Basically 5 x 5 mins easy running with 1 minute walk between.
All good I think although, as usual, tomorrow morning will be key. Ice after.

On marshaling duty at the Ian Roberts Fell Race. Took the opportunity to have a jog along the conduit while waiting for the first runners. 2 x 4 mins with 1 min walk between. Then a number of short jogs between the stragglers and back to the car whilst collecting flags. Achilles feeling fine.

Note: I need to decide whether to commit to the VHI in two weeks. Reserve is on stand-by and only fair to give him some notice. I feel I should be OK by then, but only if I don't have a set back in the meantime. Erring towards dropping out. Nothing to do with the fact that it's the same weekend as the Ryder Cup. Honest.
