Hiking throughout Nine Mile Creek State Forrest with the colonel from the local ROTC battalion while various cadets worked their way through a winter land nav exercise. We'd speak to each cadet (or group of cadets) when we came across them. Most were pretty impressive and none seemed to be fazed by the weather at all. Pretty impressive.
