Around North lakes. Beautiful sunset on the lake and got a new appreciation for the area. Quite a few people out taking photos... I wished I had my camera with me or at least my phone. So many people out walking and running and everyone was super friendly. HR normal today while running, no crazy constant beeping going on.

Steady race. Just tried to navigate well. Biggest mistake was 18. The mapping of that area wasn't right. The control wasn't in green like it was shown on the map, it was in the white/semi cleared area. There were also several water courses down below it in the green that should've been on the map. Oh well. Enjoyable terrain and course.

Started slow and built up as I got the gist of the map. Took some not ideal route choices. Need to keep pushing when I get tired and need to not fall into a slow rhythm when I start slower. I had to tell myself to start running harder on the easier legs.

Blood test shows low iron stores. Gotten lower since January despite taking iron tablets and trying really hard to get them up. In saying that, I've always taken iron tablets.
