VHI Individual, Inshriach. Wet and windy, but a really good race. What a great area. I haven't run here for many years.
A much better run from me as well, actually felt I was running properly. Only one real mistake on #14. I came up the slope a little left of where I was expecting and couldn't see the expected enormous long depression in front of me. Changed direction for a few seconds until I realised I was on the slope to the north of the control, climbed up it and there was the big depression. Maybe 1 minute lost.
Other than that I got a bit weary towards the end of the course but I was happy enough with the result. I beat one Scot which means justification.

VHI relay, Auchernack and Balliefurth. Nice little area near Grantown on a lovely day. A bit of a rubbish run from me, losing 1.5 - 2 minutes on #1. Didn't exit the field correctly, and then couldn't relocate when I reached the top of the ridge before the control. A three year old could have done a better job - I was on a path on a ridge, there were powerlines in front of me and some obvious contour shapes. After that the navigation was sound but I just couldn't get going with the running. Disappointing, but did not have much bearing on the team result. We were already down after the first leg, I just took us further down.

Speed and Strength with HPH. This week we ran up and down the EC Stoner building steps, crawled around in some gravel and then sprints up and down the car park ramp behind the EC Stoner building.
I was sort of taking it easy.
