On froggat edge and big moor. Was supposed to be orienteering but really not applying myself very well today. Still thinking so much about how it feels to run (feels fine).

just up to redmires today. cycling enjoyment has peaked and now im just full of cycling pains. even here there was some good climbing to be had, though!

Orienteering - easy 35:00 [2]

control picking at Redmires. foresty bit is a tiny hidden gem! need to tape my ankles, so much extra movement in my ankle i think doesnt help at all. not great on the compass, a bit distracted wondering how it would react, but it went okay.

From below stanage up along the top and down to fox house with a little extra loop in longshaw. Good amount of terrain. Heel is the same, main drama is that what i thought was a moderate 2 beers after climbing has left me not-that-fresh today -_-

Back on my noble steed for a one-off. Had a go at the Edale loop in the other direction. Stunning day, first time peak district cycling with no gloves on! Bit cautious on the downhills, out of practice, but enjoyed it.

Easy run up porter. Bruising feels increasingly under the heel.

Climbing. Leaving me just short of the 5 hour mark waa. Mainly because cycling didn't take as long as i thought. No pinkles up, which was a bit rubbish.

suddenly my right heel was having a mare again. I completely flipped out but today it was quite a lot better. Kim investigated and it seems the subtalar joint got jammed up (probably on Saturday) and the two hard sessions since then have bruised/inflamed the sensitised tissue round it. Went for a small run afterwards round endcliffe and it seems fine now, a bit better for it even? So ive lost a session today but hopefully not too much more.
