Running 34:27 [3]

Morning run, felt harder than last night though it was short. I went via Churchill Park, Tahuna torea, West Tamaki Road, Riddell road then home.

Cycling 1:27:00 [3]

Waterfront, Mt Eden, Balmoral Road, Reumera Road, home. It was so nice to be on the bike again!

Running 1:05:42 [3]

Around Glendowie, with hills, it was good, but would have been better if I had had more sleep this week and wasn't feeling sort of faint. At least things should be better from now on - I've finally handed in my summer studentship report.

On call was... uneventful. Which is good, no one was sick, but bad because I didn't get to see many people and learn lots.
Another time maybe.

First on call night tomorrow! Super duper excited! But this may mean no training again... sigh.

Orienteering race 17:00 [5] 3.2 km (5:19 / km)

Sprint course at Takapuna Grammar. It's actually a lot further from NSH than I thought - had a bit of a walk to get there. It was a real runner's course. No mistakes really, just general slowness from pushing myself the last few days.
And I felt some soreness in the muscles around my shins... grr grr I'm not liking where this is going, I need to stop running on roads so much and do more exercises I think.

Running around the school to warm up and down, then another loop with Toby and Jourdan plus collecting a few controls.

Warm up from Grafton to the Viaduct.

Running race 20:24 [5] 5 km (4:05 / km) vdot: 48.7

O'Hagan's, was pretty average, but fair enough since training hasn't been great lately. I still think I could do 19:45 or something like that! More intervals would definitely help.

Oh well, will strive for better next time.

Running warm up/down 36:50 [3]

Stayed and chatted to Rach and Jourdan for a while :) then after that went along the waterfront to the Parnell bridge, up St Stephens Ave, to the domain and around the domain a bit. Suffering from major chafing, so this wasn't too enjoyable :(

Monday Mar 15

Running long 1:28:38 [3]

Did exactly the same loop as last Monday! for a change. Because I never did a long run on the weekend, again. Was good, did about 4 minutes faster than last week, so weird...
Oh it gets dark so early now :( And daylight saving hasn't even ended yet!
