Running (Yarra 5k) 30:15 [3] 5.01 km (6:02 / km)
shoes: Adidas Energy Boost (black)

Jog around the Yarra, hip a bit niggly. Horribly sweaty out.
6 PM

Pilates (Pre-Natal) 1:00:00 [1]

Note

Had planned to go for a swim, or another ride but turns out that my recovery is not what it was and spent most of the day falling asleep. Finally went out for a wander at about 7.30, and found a path the north side of the Yarra we hadn't been down before.

Mountain Biking (Eltham MTBO) 1:12:46 [3] 14.73 km (4:56 / km) +184m 4:39 / km
shoes: Gary Fisher SuperFly

Again I felt a bit nervous about riding, and again I felt fine once I got on the bike. Bit of a strange map with controls right at the other end. Didn'[t think I'd get right round that loop so went out for 5 controls then back and covered everything in the park. In places felt more comfortable on singletrack than on gravelly trails, rode uphill ok but had to walk down dodgy steep bit.

Came in third, if I hadn't got stupidly confused at the beginning would probably have saved a minute or two!

Really enjoyed being on my bike, tempted to get the train up the yarra trail and ride home.

Running (Norris Bank Street-O) 36:04 [3] 6.08 km (5:56 / km) +28m 5:48 / km
shoes: Adidas Energy Boost (black)

Decided it was best not to enter the championship and keep up running C, in the end I might have actually been reasonably competitive. Was keeping up with Victoria for the most part and my navigation/ control flow was better so she couldn't get away from me. Was surprised just how much difference it made (I was also not punching which saves a few seconds and bending over effort). Definitely still go faster when there's someone ahead. Saw Kylee and Sam coming out of their last control - no way I could keep up with them up the hill though so came in third.

The write up reckons overall C is all tied up but if Damian, Moira and I run enough races I think it's still pretty open (well Damian will win if he runs enough races, and I'd put my money on him!)
