A really nice steady and social run with running club, from Mutters Moor, on a glorious summer evening. We went down to Ladram Bay on the coast path, then back on the inland route before doing a short loop on the moor. It was a warm evening...but not hot, as it needs to be at least 30 for it to be classed as hot!...and it was a wee way off that.

Wasn't originally planning to do anything this evening. But, its such a glorious warm summer evening that, living so close to the sea, it seemed rude not to go for a ride to see the sea!! Sidmouth looked awesome this evening.......and, best of all, its home!! :-D

A good run with running club from Salcombe Hill. I led the run and made it really 'loopy' so that we never went more than about 600 metres from the cars. That got some of the group quite disorientated, which is always funny!! Nice warm evening.....quite humid too though, so it was hard to get enough air in sometimes!

Note
Spent a lot of time this afternoon looking through old family photos to find some good ones of Tom and I growing up together to let the BBC have. So many happy memories.....just so unbelievably sad that Tom is gone. RIP.

A good Ciy of Exeter hash from Dalditch Farm. By coincidence, parts of the trail were the same, or very similar, to Wednesdays Isca run. But that added to the fun, trying to guess where the differences would be! This trail ended up going further south, as after crossing the old railway, we ran out on to Budleigh Golf Course for a bit. Then we joined the shorts on the old railway again, which was the signal for that we were on the right tracks to be heading towards the on-home, and was a good platform from which to start picking up the speed!!

Checking out the map and control sites for next months urban event on Taunton - as the controller lives away from the area, so I was asked to do it as a favour. Its certainly not an environment that I'm comfortable orienteering in (real orienteering is done in the countryside!!) but, nevertheless, I enjoyed the run and there are some interesting parts of the area and some really nice areas of parkland to run around.
