NOR Felbrigg - Short Brown: first time to this nice area. First few controls were peasy (in the open and along paths), but from 4 onwards into the lovely Great Wood. Steady technically but really struggled running in the terrain (lack of fitness) - hamstring also tightened towards the end so had to keep the pace under control. Made a bit of hash of 7 - on bearing through vague forest and relocated off 15 (which was about 150 metres to the south) - affected me because drifted off-line to 8 and initially went to the wrong reentrant. Also took a bit of a wobbly route to 16. Lost about 2 mins in total. Crisp and clear morning so good to be out.

At last - and on a gorgeous afternoon: Landwade loop in reverse with an extra loop of the meadow by the church. Felt relaxed and didnt struggle too much. Glute and hammy tightened though. Oh well.
