Long run....that's right I actually did a long run (interval sessions that add to 90min don't count). First one since falls creek camp in January ;) super easy intensity. Felt ok, then bad, then good.

5 x compound miles up the river. Wasn't sure that I'd be able to complete the session and have sore glutes and hammies from yesterday, so started off steady and went harder with each rep. Worked pretty well but probably wasn't quite tired enough at the end- so next week I better start hard and then try to hang on!

Would have preferred to do these in the evening but didn't have time

Ez down the river. Felt a bit tired. Keen to get back into hard training - but just for fun....need to forget about orienteering goals for a while I think

Finally slept for 11hrs last night but was still feeling rather shite all morning- so skipped the morning run. Probably ok as this arvo session was prob enough! Ran to and from sprint training (about 50min there and back) where we did 3 sprintervals. It was really fun, felt ok running but wore the wrong shoes so could only teeter along in some parts. Time includes recoveries

Ez "morning" run down the river. Had an absolutely atrocious sleep - woke up at midnight and couldn't get back to sleep until about 4am. Slept until about 9 then needed another nap around 11 because I felt so shite. Anyway...felt ok on this run

40/20s up the river. Felt ok, though was very cold at the start. My feet were already iceblocks before I left and took ages to defrost. Only saw like one other person on the bike path :/
