So when I arrived at the kayak club I thought that there may have been an Apocalypse... hardly anyone around. Thought I was going to have to paddle with my old mate Nigel, then Liv and her friend turned up to I hung around and paddled slowly with them....but at least I had some friends to talk/listen to

Rogaine with Sneaky Weasel Gang (minus Mitch). Good thing we Stru hadnt done the 5km, cause Isla and I were feeling it tonight. Also never have I sweated so much in a rogaine in my life, after the weather cleared up it was full blown heat and sunshine in some super dry grassy terrain. Got almost all of the controls, just dropped 2. Think I actually (with some help) planned an alright route for a change!

5km #2 none of the top guns were there so I had to be the pace stter for the first 4kms. Then the guy behind me went for it and left me for dust. Still managed to pull away from Dave Fitch which was a bonus. Much slower conditions this week with a bloody headwind and a super hot dry day. 7 seconds faster this week, could be the racing flats could be one extra week, definitely wasn't the headwind tho

Rushed home, picked up MTB, picked up car, drove up the hill meet my Tuesday night MTB group and did a bit of a ride with them, down through the bike park. Making the most of the last of the good weather for the week! Called in to Riki and Emily's and the offered me some dinner so it was difficult to turn them down.
