H1 at Yetar Springs. A middle distance course. Thought I took the safe way into #1 coming off the clearing, but still messed it up (too far right and overshot). Also lost some time on #9 (stopping a bit short), #15 (thought I was already in the saddle near the control but had drifted a bit left), and #20 (wasn't quite sure where I was after missing the clearing I aimed for). Nice run.

Did the H4 after the H1. Tried to take a bit more risk to see if it would cost me. It did cost a bit of time at #7 as my direction was a bit off, but corrected ok. At #11 I thought it was #12 because that number was written very close to the circle of #11. That meant I was expecting control code 101, but it was 126. Wasn't sure what happened, and since I took this only as a training run, I decided to walk back to the previous control and try again to figure out where I went wrong. Got to 126 again, and then worked out what happened. Four minutes lost. Would have been a pretty good run if not for the control number confusion.

Ride home from work. Dark rain clouds just ahead for almost the whole ride, but I only felt a few drops. Quite a solid effort with my blocked nose and sore throat.

Yoga for children with R. He loves it so much he wants to do it every night now. I join him just for laughs (mostly at my expense).
