Back in the high heels today to try to take a little load off my calves. Seemed to work alright, although I have no intention of using these shoes more than I absolutely have to at the moment.

Just felt better than yesterday. Felt like things were flowing alright, felt like I was moving at a decent pace without pushing... wish I could pinpoint why it felt so different and make it happen all the time. Enjoyable anyways - almost enough to make me consider getting up in the morning to try...

Headed out on the sand tracks past the sewage treatment plant, then picked up a track along some powerlines, and ended up on the old railway. Not the most pristine bushland, but never run that way before and it was pretty peaceful no traffic, no people.
Got to about half way before my calves started to grumble. They were really bad last week and aren't feeling great right now, either.
Didn't feel wheezy at all, but chest just felt tight for pretty much the whole run.

Hasn't been the best second week to try to get a bit fitter again... work is pretty unsettled at the moment. In theory, this week should be easier and I should be able to get plenty of sleep and get some training done, but there's the possibility of that going out the window in a hurry.
