Hungaria Cup - Day5

Last day of the competition. I started without anyone around me so this one was also a pretty chill jogging in the forest. Despite the fact that I was running at very moderate pace I still managed to do plenty of mistakes.

Just couldn't concentrate on the map.

Hungaria Cup - Day4

After 3 hours of sleep I did a long jogging in the forest. It went pretty bad technically and physically as well.
Nothing more to say about it, it just wasn't a serious race.

Hungaria Cup - Day3

Sprint race in Tapolca with tons of controls. I didn't have contact with the map early on, couldn't find the start control than I just didn't understand leg 1-2 where I lost plenty of time.

Other than that it was okay but slow running and even slower orienteering compared to a sprint distance.

The last 4 controls were only running and I lost minutes there.

Hungaria Cup - Day2

Went pretty well compared to yesterday and considering my physical strength at the moment.

Started good until control 4, than I was pretty insecure on a longer leg to control 5 and lost 2 minutes during the leg and another minute around the control with a paralel mistake.

Control 6-11 were just fine (lost 10-15 seconds around control 9 because I couldn't see the control in the depression).

Routechoice to control 12 was not the best in my opinion, but at least it was technically easy so there were no problems.

I was pretty tired at this point of the race so from control 13-16 I might have lost 1-2 minutes in total.

The last 3 controls I did with an Austrian guy who was pushing quite hard but I didn't want to let him go in front so it gave me some motivation to run faster.

Hungaria Cup - Day1

Started good to control 1 and 2. Than didn't really understand the valleys to control 3 so I lost at least 2 minutes and than to control 4 and 5 another 4 minutes lost. I didn't manage to find contact with the map so I decided to slow down towards control 6 which was a good leg, but than 3.5 minutes mistake to control 7 again.

After this super awful part of the race where I lost in total around 10 minutes, I did a good job and spiked most of the controls at a moderate speed.
