No idea where this came from.....relatively consistent effort and never to hard; felt in total control the whole time and never felt like i couldn't keep going. A good sign for fitness and that things are possibly coming together after a messy summer of injuries. Nice.

Seat with EUOC before everyone bailed, it was pretty wet and windy then lap of Meadows with Tom before going home below the crags. Physical fine to end (although pace really easy so I would hope so) and cough seems to be dissapeering.

Decided against intervals as slightly snotty and a bit of a cough and don't want to over do it. However felt pretty good running on crags and seat. HR shows I was working quite hard all the time although didn't really feel it. Lovely evening and nice way to unwind after a couple of pretty busy first days at uni.

Out to pollock then to the freshers hill race, never intended to race but started and immediately that this was pushing things a bit far. (9h sleep in last 2 days) So just had a nice jog round the crags and back down the bog. No point pushing things so hard, especially at the end of freshers and with some good weekends ahead.

Pentlands Birthday Run with the Joe, Ali, Dan and Ben. Lovely afternoon at points even though i was running on 3h sleep. Up from Bonaly to Capelaw, then Allermuir, then down to reservoir and on upto Black Hill then up the punchy Bells Hill before back to Bonaly by Harbour Hill. Good times.
