Really good session - times were improving as the session went on which is good. Bit windy though on the back straight.

Phys testing - due to the cold I’ve had i did ‘sub-maximal effort.’ Started to feel it at 15 (4mins/km) and then was told to stop after 16 kmh (3.45mins/km) . Think I would have managed 17 but not wanting to prolong the cold. Really interesting results nonetheless. Might need to invest with a heart rate monitor that actually works though!

Inter districts - 3rd.
Didn’t go off to hard at the start because have made that mistake too often and died in the past, especially cos it was an uphill start ew. Looking at the splits maybe was still slightly too fast. Megan and Cera got away at the start and I was in front of the next group so was running by myself for all of it. Bit windy at times but liked the course, maybe a bit flat though!
