From pleasance, up the crags and over to the commie which turned into a bit of a tempo effort to meet Caitlin in time. Then an a very easy 3km with her along pipers and up the bog. Living for these golden hour evenings.

Turnhouse from flotterstone with Luke on a very mild spring evening. Up to the summit and then dropped off the back to traverse above the loch. Made myself run the whole way up turnhouse, but it was the kind of running where walking would actually be faster. Focusing on keeping an easy effort and low-ish HR. Felt good, apart from I have no calf strength for hills anymore. Lots of sheeps and their wee lambies on the paths, incredibly cute.

Braids & Hermy mtb. First time on my mtb in ages, mainly due to the weather and mud - just couldn’t deal with the thought of the clean up. AND luke’s had my wheels on his new bike for the last two weeks. Most of the trails were nice and dried up, but still the odd muddy bit. Hopefully doing some xc-mtb and mtb-o races in summer, so need to get a lot more bike-fit than I felt today!
