did one of the SART courses at UW with my dad trailing. Flow was messy and I got pretty thrown off by all the route choices and small details. Also felt extremely physically exhausted although I didn't feel like I was running very fast. Stomach felt crappy by the end. Overall a meh training

SART Woodland Park course. Totally botched 2 and 15. Again, really tired but also really slow. My sleep has been okay (~6-8 hrs avg during weeknights) but it's been hot so I'll be hydrating more.

Morning workout w Tyra on the Cougar Mountain trails. Interval workout of 5x1k, goal between 5:30-6:30/k, with 20sec surges at 2 and 4 minutes in. 1:45 rest. Splits: 5:00, 6:00, 5:42, 5:30, 6:34, 6:19
Slower splits involve uphill and/or narrow trail with steep dropoff

Late-night quick training with Tyra at Lincoln Park. I did the varsity WIOL course from my first WIOL back in 2014, and Tyra did part of the long advanced from that day. We planned on going earlier and switching maps after the first run but got out pretty late and it was getting pretty dark, so we called it a night.
