Nationals XC (senior men)- 16th/2nd Team.

Finally an xc performance this year that I can honestly say I’m happy with. I started slow and worked my way up through the field gradually. A slight pop on the last lap was the only negative point. Got out kicked by spongy aswell which was a bit gutting ;). But honestly can’t complain, happy to end the season on a high and absolutely chuffed with team silver!

3 meadows laps and some strides with a big pack of boys. Well actually just off the back of the big pack of boys because I didn’t fancy the rancid pace of the front pack. Good times, legs feeling better towards the end.

With Dan and max on a very sloppy Holyrood high. Maybe went a little hard on the first tempo, taking it out solo into the wind. The 1s felt fairly controlled but was feeling the last couple. Then the last tempo was a grind just keeping ahead of Max. Nice session. Nothing to write home about but got it done.
