Chill Morton SLR with the boys. Legs not feeling too bad after last night. Got a blood blister under my toe nail which was very uncomfortable. Good vibes other than that.

10km TT - 30:37

Did this at Cramond running the Scottish 5km champs course twice, made it legit so didn’t go off watch because wanted to be able to claim as a PB unofficially (10.09km on the watch). Joining Max at the 10km point in his half. Pulled away from Max pretty soon with Carcas tucked in behind. Went through 5km feeling alright in 15:16 ish. Carcas started really pumping the pace at this point, dropped a 2:57 6th km, shortly after this I started getting distanced. Just couldn’t hold it. Kept grinding out a consistent pace all the way to the finish. Actually ran a very even split race, Alex just upped it big time in the second half. Really happy with this, shoes made a big difference and conditions were pretty decent. Definitely a sub 30 to be had come Ribble in December. Big kudos to Alex and all the other boys running.

Hermitage and Blackford with Max waiting for his car to have its MOT. Felt pretty decent overall. Bit of an ankle twinge today, noticed it this morning and on this run. Probably absolutely nothing to be concerned about. Penelope passed her MOT, same couldn’t be said for Glenda, RIP.

Decent one with Carcas and Dougie. Admittedly, I did take it out a bit hard but think you can get away with that for the shorter sessions. Legs felt very good today. Did get a horrible stitch after the second 8, but just sat on Alex for the rest of the session so was able to zone out and forget about it.
