Friday May 26 #

Note

Decided not to do the intervals, body just not feeling good so another day off :( probably a lack of sleep is not helping my muscles recover, but ill hopefully be able to get back into it over the weekend

Thursday May 25 #

Run (easy) 41:45 [3] 6.65 km (6:17 / km)

Run home from orchestra mainly in the dark. Just did the easy run I missed on Tuesday because my hammy was still a little sore, and the rest of me just felt stiff/ in need of being stretched out. Felt fine, but then realised it was because I was going very slow. Legs no better afterwards, they just feel sore in general despite not doing heaps :/// will see how I go tomorrow as to whether I do the intervals I had planned for today or not

Wednesday May 24 #

1 PM

Run warm up/down 28:00 [1] 3.78 km (7:24 / km)

Run race 15:19 [5] 4.2 km (3:39 / km)

ASC cross country at Stromlo. Hamstring was sore warming up so I didn't want to push it too much. Wasn't so stressed then about trying to keep up with the front two girls so felt better/more relaxed. 20sec slower than the school carnival. Pace on watch was deceiving because I picked up an extra 200m from the track distance being not-quite-right.
6 PM

Orienteering (night o) 53:50 [3] 6.19 km (8:42 / km)

World orienteering day night-o!!!!!
At mt Ainslie. Wasn't keen when I got there because I was tired/cold but once I got going I was loving it...Until I got to #9 which was in a tiny vague gully (and potentially placed wrong but unsure) so spent what felt like 100yrs looking for that one, then #11 also right at the end in a similar tiny vague watercourse took me ages to eventually find. Other than that it was all good, made good use of the power lines and was fun :)

Monday May 22 #

6 AM

Strength 58:00 [3]

4 PM

Run warm up/down 27:00 [1] 4.0 km (6:45 / km)

Run intervals 17:00 [5] 3.18 km (5:21 / km)

10x200m at "3k pace" (though actually much faster), 100m walk in between with Des' group. Felt good, was fun :)

Run warm up/down 22:00 [2] 4.16 km (5:17 / km)
