Terrain Run 57:57 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run, Cochno Loch anti-clockwise at a reasonably brisk pace with Dave and Alice on a cool and still evening in 57:57. Very wet underfoot - like running on plasticine in places! Dave gathered up a good collection of discarded cans and bottles on the way round.

Strength and Conditioning 40:00 [3]

Garscube Strength and Conditioning "easy week". Various drills and exercises working on cadence, then approximately 30 minutes of stretching.

Interval Session intervals 1:00:57 [5]

Garscube intervals at Anniesland. Warm up (12.47), 1 x mile (7:11), 2 x 800 m (3.19 - short, 3.31), 4 x 400 m (1.32, 1.33. 1.33, 1.30), warm down (12.00). Session 60.57.

Trail Race race 22:53 [5] 5.0 km (4:35 / km)

Carnegie Harriers Devilla Forest 5 K Trail Race in 22:53 (3/15 V50). Too slow (to enter, not running!) to get an entry for the 15 K, and so had to settle for a fast-as-I-could blast round the 5 K instead. Nice course on forest roads and tracks with nothing worse than a little mud, a few puddles, and some gentle hills to deal with. An enjoyable workout on a chilly morning.

Road Race race 38:49 [5] 5.0 mi (7:46 / mi)

Glasgow University Hare and Hounds 5 Mile Race at Garscube Estate in 38:49. Steady run on a chilly morning, holding position reasonably well on the second lap.
