Riding to yoga is much more of a workout than rolling into civic, felt good. I'll have to do some brucie bike hills to make up for the lack

This is the first break I've had from yoga classes in at least 5 years. No classes since about November until this morning. Good to feel what a class like this really offers physically and mentally. I was stronger more stable and more flexible than last november but I noticed that the relaxation and meditation is more thorough and deep than I achieve at home. She refused to charge me because I did drumming and harmonies for kirtan. Then there was tea cake and biscuits afterwards. A highly valuable morning.

with Imo on Majura and Dusty, usual loop past the dams and back the slightly longer way. Sacrum was tender at first in spite of some core stuff before leaving and walking for 5 mins first. Then it settled down and I felt pretty good and springy (if a bit tired in the legs)

A very good run with Po on ridge. 5 mins walk warm up then mostly continuous running. Spine gluts hams settled down pretty well so that eventually running felt natural and more flowing. Still felt ready to stop at end but hadn't had breakfast so that's ok. Po is my speed and we have good chats about permaculture principles and pilates.
It rained gently the whole time, perfect cool morning!

With the tiniest trickle of a cold still hanging around this week - the odd sneeze and runny nose, I decided that for parkrun this morning I would... Sleep in!

Blackie std loop with the Fred. Felt tired and stiff which is the expected come down after so many shows. Good to get out and take it easy. Felt better afterwards. Tried a mere handful of seconds of running a few times. Will get back running on weekend

to Canb Comedy fest final show, I think I reached another level for improv music - have worked pretty hard on it lately and changed the approach. The actors were so good tonight, absolute cracker of a show.
Cycling there I passed a guy who was definitely going a touch slower than I wanted to. So I passed him, then i just got this feeling... and sure enough he accelerated and was just behind me all the way to civic. I'm sure he really wanted to pass. I could hear the breathing but summoned my legs to give me everything and he wasn't able to. When I turned off I glanced across to make sure it was still him. Very important to appear nonchalant and unconcerned in these situations, I think I managed to.

black mtn with the Fred. So much talking we accidentally went a different way. Didn't go too hard up hill so I would have good peak energy for show tonight in Canb Comedy Fest

Rode to the show. Went well mainly because I prepared and warmed up piano improvising very thoroughly for couple of hours beforehand.
