Bendigo ToDay Hageby
Had the long split to the first control with Pete and stuck with him through the first two forked loops. He got ahead of me with a track route on the long leg while I went straight. A few people were around me in the phi loop and I came out of it just behind Will. Was nice and clean through the more technical mining bit but then Willy pushed away from me when it got a bit more physical. Overall good fun again and another nice confidence boost for me physically and technically.

Bendigo ToDay Sprint
Good fun course on a 1:2000 map. Bit of a conservative start but then worked into it. Big disappointment was on 15 where I was really careful to check if the first garden bed was olive or not (it wasn't) and then I just put the foot down and went straight through another bit of olive/impassable fence. I think I saw someone else in front of me go through the same gate and a lot of people did it but still doesn't make it ok. Interestingly I actually lost time to the others in this control (think it was because I hesitated so much before going through the first garden bed) so at least my result is still reasonably accurate for my run.

Really enjoyed the challenge out there today and generally handled it pretty well after a bit of a hesitant start. Big scare was that I came very close to stepping on a brown snake about half way around. Pretty stressful stuff and then almost stepped on a blue tongue 5min later which was actually almost scarier.
