Helix Junior Parkrun #115 with Hanna. Decent run though she was tired from track races yesterday.

Trail Running 50:57 [3] 6.42 mi (7:56 / mi) +210m 7:12 / mi

Run from the house up to the canal then to the top of Hill House, before returning by the same route. Another fairly steady outing.

Run from the house up to the canal then up to Hill House. Did a short loop in Beecraigs via the loch car park and direct back. Fairly steady. Wet for a change with drizzle, heavy at times, and clag at Beecraigs.

Balgreen, Carrick Knowe GC, Corrie Hill and back by Ravelston. Legs a bit tired and stiff, but not too bad. Lovely sunny lunch again though.

Shadowed Hanna's schoolmates James and Thomas round the Yellow Course. Moving time recorded since we stopped at each control.

Trail Running 11:18 [3] 1.64 mi (6:53 / mi) +10m 6:46 / mi

Warm up along the northern side of the loch for a bit and back.

Orienteering race 20:22 [5] 2.76 mi (7:23 / mi) +50m 6:59 / mi

Linlithgow Sprintelope - Urban event on the south side of the loch. Quite a hard run so glad legs were fine, even if fitness not great. Lost best part of a minute on #12 (wrong side of wall confusion) & #13 (silly mistake). Had fun racing James H over middle section, took a while to escape after I caught up! Sunny warm night.
