Running 1:23:00 [3]

Intervals with Emma on very rainy morning!
15 min warmup from Vanier to the trails
Did a few leg swings/stretches
4x 5 min intervals zone 3-4, felt pretty good the second one we definitely accelerated but near the end it got hard because of all the trail head fence things to keep out bikes - had to maneuver around this and re accelerate! The third one was especially tough with the slight uphill and tired legs. Fourth one was better though! Pace not as consistent as it should be overall but a good effort by the both of us I think!
had about 3:30-4 mins moving rest in between each one.
Longer break and then a jog back to straighter trails for 4x20 second strides.
Good to work on kick but still felt strong.
Jogged back to res.

Yoga/Stretching 5:00 [0]

Did some stretching when I got back but my left hammy and right achilies are still quite tight. Tried to massage them and continue to stretch but we will see how they feel in the morning...

Ultimate 2:00:00 [2]

Big day for KU - we made vanier residence history as it was the first time KU has won the championship !
Ultimate playoffs today and first game in a while... after finally gathering two more girls after our regulars were off campus we were able to play! Beat Tec pretty solidly and then had another game right after against Kootsl, although a tougher game it still wasn't a nail biter. We won that which put us in the final against Robaonogan - a rematch of last semester.
They were doing some trash talking before the game so we were all excited to play although didn't actually expect to win... it went back and forth with good defence so not a lot of points were being scored. We made a few good stops and were able to take the lead. One of our players stepped in after coming from a Rugby game and helped us make a final push with 6 points to their 1 in the last 15-20 mins. Really fun and great to win! With no subs the entire day it was quite a good workout in the end...

Cycling (Mountain ) 50:00 [2] 14.0 km (3:34 / km)

Gave my bike a spring tune-up before the final, I got a new seat at Christmas so put that on, gave my tires some air and oiled the chains! It was such a nice day and I wanted to take the bike out for a rip around the trails so after the game took off and it was well worth it! Nice to explore the trails some more and the bike was in good shape... lacking a bit of energy for the uphills.
