Went to Drumchapel Parkrun en route to the urban orienteering training in Miingavie. Felt rubbish and performed accordingly. Really nice wood to run in and a very tough, hilly course with 2 steep hills on each of the three laps. Also a horrible, very steep, twisty downhill section of path on each lap which I didn't enjoy, but a good workout and a good training run when feeling good.

Mrs P wanted to go to the CLYDE urban orienteering training session in Milngavie. Ran round the 'Tricky' course with controls on features which required you to know the correct description (one of my pet hates in urban races!). No problems as it's always easy when you're not racing, but interesting course.

Recovery run from work at lunchtime up to the Lomondgate SUDs Pond, a couple of laps and back. Bitterly cold day.

Cycle home from work. Dodging some patches of ice.

Track session with the athletic club at Linwood Track. Session was 15 x 400m (100m easy jog recovery in 1 min). Track a bit icy in places.

Running quite well so another good solid session.

Recovery run on the gravel and grass trails in Overtoun Estate and Lang Craigs Wood. Left knee more or less fine when I run which is a relief. Right knee is always a bit stiff since I trashed it a few years ago.
