Running 1:30:00 [3] 10.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
Easy run at kirk of the hills
Treadmill 35:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)
Mountain Bike 55:00 [3] 13.5 mi (14.7 mph)
Easy spin. Still have a little chest cold but feeling better.
Note
Ended up 5th in my division and 6thOA for TTT. Happy with this result considering the amazing talent. All top ten + are Kona qualifiers. I also ended up going 2 minutes faster overall after having a really bad race 4.
Mountain Bike 45:00 [3] 10.0 mi (13.3 mph)
Easy spin. Body feeling much better.
Note
slept:10.0 (sick) (rest day)
Slept really well last night, finally. Still have a bad chest cold/cough but with rest, it should be gone in no time. Body is sore. Quads and abs are really sore.
Note
3.5 mile walk with my prego BFF Christine to loosen up legs and catch up.
Tri Race 5:51:00 [3]

This race was hard mentally and physically. Really low HR all day. Probably not enough nutrition. Didn't sleep again as I couldn't stop hacking away. Kept eric up and Mike :( I had rattling in my chest, which freaked me out. But I refused to not finish. Swim was OK. Took easy. Bike. Legs!?!? That's what I was thinking. Ended up being an OK bike. Saw a really bad crash. Course has crazy technical downhill sections. Run. Um mm didn't start pretty. Felt horrible. Was 6 minutes down from Jen and we were within 30sec of overall time so I wanted to push harder but my body said No! Took a long bathroom break then started to run as fast as I could. Didn't make anytime up at the turnaround :(.....on the way back I started to feel a little, very little bit better and made up 1 minute. Not much. Saw E and he gave me my split. 5 minutes. Now I only had 6 miles to do it. Well, I had a moment and made my mind up that I had more. I pushed harder. I did. Let's just say the last 6 miles hurt bad but worth it to pass...sprinting within 200 yards of the finish line. We both we're like 5 and 6th OA..I passed my bada@$ friend but I also won the battle in my mind and the battle of my body this week. Happy.
