The Niagara Escarpment (aka the Giant's Rib) was a formidable physical barrier to early explorers in southern Ontario. Steep cliffs, rocky ground, and large creeks also made navigation difficult for these adventurers. The Raid the Rib takes place on the Niagara Escarpment so teams can expect lots of technical running and some interesting navigational challenges as they Raid the Rib.
