Open CSU training camp at Pawtuckaway.
Training exercises will be geared towards preparing people for the US Team Trials, with an emphasis on map contact and technical navigation. We changed our mind about offset printed maps when we realized that would involve drawing 2000 control circles, so the maps will be laser printed.

Everyone welcome.

Tentative schedule:

Saturday

• 9:30-12 - control picking - 35c, 5km, 2.5km to start, 1.5km from finish, meet at Park HQ.
  
• 12-1:30 - lunch
  
• 1:30-4:30 - simplification exercise - 19c, 6.7km, 2.5km to start, 1km from finish, meet at Park HQ.
  
• 4:30-8 - dinner, etc.
  
• 8-10 - night-o - 16c, 6km, 1km to start, meet at boat ramp.
  

Sunday

• 9-11:30 - route choice and time estimation exercise - 13c, 6.7km, 2.5km back from finish, meet at boat ramp.
  
• 11:30-1 - lunch
  
• 1-3 - control picking - 2 courses, 26c 3.5km and 17c, 2.8km, 2.5km back from finish, meet at boat ramp.
  

All exercises include some instruction, pre- and post-analysis. You must return within the specified time limit.
