The Whadjuk peoples have used this corridor of land for tens of thousands of years before us. Travelling along the wetlands between the swan estuaries to Yanchep and even as far North as Moore River, the sandy hills between the corridor and the coast gave them some protection on their travels during harsh Winters.

Yaberoo Budjara translates to ‘Land of the peoples North of Perth’ and to have an event that runs along this trail is a privileged opportunity for us to acknowledge the history of the region and our country’s first people.

The ideal introduction trail event with superbly groomed limestone trails along the entire route, Yaberoo also makes for a very fast course with some ridiculously quick times over the last few years. The generous no cut off times are perfect for those wanting to accomplish their first trail experiences and pop that cherry into Ultra Marathons for those attempting the 50k. Spectacular scenery has you unsuspecting that you are running through the metro area with no road crossings throughout and hardly a sign of civilisation!!

Race distances of 15, 25 and 50k are available for you to immerse yourselves in the beautiful coastal bushlands along the limestone trail.
