Nahanton Park is a new map (2016) in Newton. The park is largely forested, with a large field in the center. You may encounter some poison ivy, but it is not typically a problem, and the forest is very open with fast running and good visibility.
493 Nahanton St, Newton, MA 02459
The nearest public transit is the 52 bus, which drops you off on Winchester St, about a half-mile from the start.
