Mikell is planning one Red course each day, with control flags at the control locations. Mikell says, "This is really aimed at advanced-level orienteers, but strong intermediate orienteers might just possibly survive a few controls each day." :-) The schedule will be: September 3rd, a re-run of the recent Red national-event course at Diamond Bay (maybe with small modifications); September 4th, a Red course at West Medicine Bow; and September 5th, a re-run of one of Mikell's favorite Laramie Daze courses at Pelican Bay. There will be no fee to participate, but Mikell would appreciate donations to cover map printing expenses. To pre-register and get driving directions, send an email to Mikell Platt (mikellplatt@charter.net) no later than September 1st, with the particulars about which days you'd like to run. Pre-registration is required. Help with control pickup after each day's training would be appreciated.
