A weekend of fun in the breathtaking channeled scablands, featuring nearly treeless, mostly gently rolling terrain punctuated by intricate contour detail and majestic basalt cliffs. Beautiful vistas of Rock Creek meandering through the valley, undulating meadows dotted by hills and wetlands, and mid-20th-century ranch buildings. Free primitive camping onsite at Escure Ranch.
Saturday, April 11: navigation training exercises and practice course
Sunday, April 12: 4-hour, 7-hour, and 10-hour nav race (rogaining event)
