Starts 10:00 – 1:00. Courses close at 3:00. White, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green and Red Courses offered – Beginner to advanced. Beginner instruction will be offered at 10:30, 11:00: 11:30 and 12:00. We will be using pin punching, not electronic punching. Map is 1:10,000, with 6-meter contours. Originally mapped in spring 1999, with periodic updates. Directions: From I-93, take exit 20. Turn left onto Route 3 north. Follow Route 3 for 6.4 miles to where it turns right just past the Belknap Mall onto the 'Laconia Bypass', then 2.9 miles to the Route 11A exit (Gilford Village/Laconia). There are brown signs directing you to Gunstock prior to the exit. Turn right onto Route 11A (Cherry Valley Road) and follow it 5.5 miles to the Gunstock entrance on the right.
From the seacoast area: Take the Spaulding Turnpike north. Follow highway signs for the Lakes Region onto Route 11 north, and then past Alton to Route 11A. Gunstock is about 12 miles beyond Alton on Route 11A on the left.
