This adrenaline-charged new race is set in an area imposingly dubbed, “The Grand Canyon of the South”. Starting in the immense and spectacular gorge area of Breaks Interstate Park, we’re thrilled to bring you an adventure with miles of mountain-high single-track, scenic backcountry, and clear, gorgeous waters.

As a never-before raced venue surrounded by the Jefferson National Forest along the Kentucky and Virginia border, this quietly beautiful area has limitless opportunities for some great adventure. The inaugural Breakdown will introduce racers to what the area has to offer, and will grow each year with some really exciting prospects on the horizon. Additionally, as a tentative early USARA qualifying race, teams looking to nab a spot for Nationals, will have an excellent opportunity!
