I have heard you described by a number of radio journalists as 'fantastic talent'. By which they mean, I think, someone who can keep talking intelligently about interesting subjects without needing constant prompting. In the case of Newcastle, keeping talking whilst under water.

Pensioner beat me to it. I was also going to comment that Novacastrians might prefer your dulcet tones to those of rushing water.
