So here I am where the packet pickup is supposed to be for the PNWOF races, at Central Oregon Community College, but there's nobody here with packets. You can't announce that you're going to have packet pickup and then not do it!

I am in complete agreement. I'm not staying near COCC, and I drove all the way over there to pick up packets. Not to mention I drove around campus for 20 minutes before finding the dorm where people were (with Dan Schaublin's help).

I noticed that the schedule on the website changed -- it used to have tonight's packet pickup on it, but today it doesn't. That's pretty reprehensible. At the very least there should have been a note on the website saying that Tuesday night's packet pickup was canceled. But that would have only helped people like me who have web access out here.

Reminds me of driving around Uslar, Germany in 1991 looking in vain for O signs for quite a long time, and wondering why there were all these weird signs around that said "WKZ". Turns out that WeltKampfZentrum or something like that means competition center. I guess German folks just know that, but it took us a while to figure it out.
