Congrats for two nice runs this weekend, and winning the US Championships, despite the pit problem on Saturday. Is this your first champs win?

Ninth. But if you mean 2-Day Classic, 2nd, the other being in M55 in 2005 in Oregon. It never gets old :-)

Congrats also! Nice job, even though I had to scoot out to drive quickly.

I see you also came back from third on day one. Makes it all the sweeter! Congrats.

Congrats, Dennis, and good comeback.

#6, I also went along the aspens and expected them to run out earlier than they did, but noticed the marshiness up ahead and slowed down. Fortunately for me I also saw Peter off to my left (leaving the control as it turned out) and quickly popped over into the reentrant.

During the race I never really considered looping over toward the fence, but didn't notice until later that the bottom of the reentrant would lead you straight up to the flag. Great route choice by Peter which avoided the vagueness of the aspens.

A very nice and detailed write-up. You were doing a lot of thinking out there, and it paid off.

Yes, as usual Dennis out thinks the competition!
