Location, location, location. Dad couldn't work out how he got the land so cheap!

The river past the Hughes has changed a lot in the last few years. The lakes are new. The best bits of the Maribyrnong path are after it has looped around the old explosives factory. Some really nice stretches on the way to Brimbank Park

Yes, the section out beyond Canning Street is terrific - certainly few signs that you're in a city. It's not in range for me from any of my usual starting points but I ran it on Christmas morning a few years ago starting from my grandmother's place in Essendon.
