ErikEddy:
Hope to get a good turnout. Will be a fun relaxing day in a nice park, with some opportunity for a good sprint competition. As a bonus will be on a new map just north of Valley Forge (besides some intro events). Subject to change...

Duathlon Orienteering Challenge (Interval starts 10-11): The paved trail (~5 miles) that encompasses JJ Audubon and Lower Perkiomen Valley park provides a perfect opporunity to include bikes in orienteering. Competitiors will ride in teams of 2 or 3 picking up controls along the path. Bikes will be dismounted at 3 stops, where 1 member of the group will pick up several land controls (3 stops will have 3 different difficulty levels).

Mass Start Sprint (12:30PM): Staged in the Perkiomen Valley Park this Sprint will be very spectator friendly. The Sprint will use different combinations of 3 short loops returning to start so that a mass start is possible. The course will be 2.5-3.0 km contested in fields and some woods.

Potluck Lunch: Immediately following the Sprint. Details TBD. We will have the main pavilion with opportunities for other fun at the park (volleyball, tether ball, horseshoe). Summer Meeting will follow the lunch social.
