Exactly. The unlikely happens.
I have a bit of a problem where your ranking automatically gets you a favoured start. Orienteering is supposed to be a "fair" sport. I don't see how always giving a favoured few the best start times makes the sport fair. In my view start times should be allocated randomly at laest sometimes.

@O-ing - yes. The old WOC system was basically fair. You had to earn your starting slot in the qualies. People started on an equal footing.
The new one... well...
And I too care more about this than about the TV/GPS issue, but I suspect IOF council have a different perspective.
