So I am trying to post RG for the Team Trials. We just got Condes 9 so the XML course output has both "Position" (in UTM) and "MapPosition". When I go to adjust the circles, there are only two circles. No matter where I fit these circles to, no more circles appear.

Any suggestions?

I guess if it's an out-of-range issue I could just add an offset to the coordinates in the XML file... will try... but it would be nice to know if I should add to "Position" or to "MapPosition".

I think you need to try XML 2.0, not 3.0.

Thanks!

Now the problem (in XML 2.0) is that RG seems to use "ControlPosition" and not "MapPosition". The latter is in mm for map rotated to magnetic north, the former is in UTM. There is a 14-degree or so declination angle between the set of circles and the map, which is not reducible to zero within the RG "fit" mechanism.

I have rotated the map raster, but am wondering if there is a more elegant solution short of going back to Condes 8 or hand-editing the XML?

And I just noticed that the "ControlPosition" was in the XML output for only the Friday's Condes file but not the Saturday's or Sunday's. Where in Condes 9 is the setting that determines whether the XML output contains the geocoordinates of the CPs or not?
