This is coming late, but, you know, better late than never. For those who have the time and interest, I will be putting together a chanceful opportunity to do 5 consecutive days of racing/training in the Laramie Range, dates 28 July thru 1 Aug, which will serve as a passible Convention warmup. For anyone who dares take it all on, you'll get to sample at least 10 different maps, and try beating that--you would need some kind of stick, at least. Snow in the summer is an ever-present risk in SE Wyoming, but at least there will be no poison oak, and that's for sure. It will be lots of orienteering and not much more, but the best way to get better at orienteering is to do lots of orienteering. And all at a bargain price (though we will be forced to levy a surcharge for those insisting on wearing adventure racer pants; not even Britney or Paris wear those when they go orienteering.)
