Did you find any? My first full day of spring yard work. I put in 40 onion plants on Wed, but we were well below freezing Thurs & Fri, so I covered them just to be safe. Wanted to put in more, but the upper bed was frozen solid, even after 2 days under plastic. I chipped some divots into the ice, but today it was still frozen several cm below the melted divots. There are a few garlic sprouts, but they may be leftover from fall.
Still, was able to finish planting the lower bed today - 95 onions, 3 varieties. I put up the bird netting to keep the cat out. He was "using" it this morning.
Pics of the onion plants and a couple of older ones of the germination tray in the basement. The potted tulips are now in the sunroom and going great. None of the outside tulips have sprouted. The daffs are sprouting though, and I saw one crocus. There are still patches of snow in the yard, and the forecast is for more snow Monday :(
