I was in Brisbane a few years ago. The TV newsreader in all seriousness said it was time to break out the doonas because tonight's temperature was going down to 22!
And in Darwin when it gets down to 18 overnight the call goes out for emergency donations of blankets for the long-grassers.
I still chuckle at Susanne's Swedish friends calling 21 and not-actually-raining a beautiful summer's day (might not tell that to George or we'll never get him to Sweden!).
